SetupCast is software that automates the task of keeping your website updated with accurate information about your software distribution.

It merges information about your software release with HTML/XML templates and publishes the output to your website. It can also upload the actual distribution files for your software to help keep everything fully synchronized.

SetupCast is also capable of publishing distribution files and generated content for multiple installer types and other data at the same time. This makes it a "one button" solution for keeping your website updated whenever you update your software.


Much of the information gathering process is totally automated (especially if you use SetupBuilder to build your installers).

The published information includes items such as:

·	Product Name

·	Product Logo

·	Current Version

·	Release Date

·	Download Size

·	Download Hyperlinks

·	Release Notes

SetupCast's ability to manage and publish information for different installer types at the same time is important. It allows you to fully synchronize a new release of your software. This means that your Full Installer, Web Installer, Web Updater and RSS Feed all get updated with the new files and information at the touch of a button.

Each distribution method has its own information associations. Some items are unique (such as Hyperlinks to different installer type downloads). You can also choose to have some information synchronized between release methods (such as the Release Date, Version, etc).

The types of content generated by SetupCast include:

·	Web Update Information

·	RSS Feeds for Download Information and Update Notices

·	A Links Page (which pulls all the different information into a single web page)

Adding a new section of generated content to your SetupCast project is as simple as checking a box for it in the General Settings section of the Project Settings and setting up some basic information (most of this is fully automated too).
