2. SetupCast uses simple merge templates to format the data
You don’t have to be a web designer genius to create great looking content with SetupCast!
Just use one of the many sample templates provided or create your own in any WYSIWYG HTML editor if you prefer.
The templates are just simple documents that have tokens in them that represent the data gathered by SetupCast. You just place them and format them as needed.

4. SetupCast helps you manage the files on your web server
More than just a standard FTP program, SetupCast knows the locations for each file and is even capable of managing different upload locations at the same time (based on installer or content type).
Publishing can be fully automatic with a dynamic site structure based on content or to fixed Urls that you specify (making it easy to add SetupCast to your existing website layout).

5. SetupCast uploads the files to your website
After your satisfied with the generated content, SetupCast uploads the files (including the actual distribution files if you prefer) to your website.
Precision Publishing also makes it easy to republish selected portions of your content or distribution files without requiring a full upload. This is very convenient when you need to make a minor change to the generated content and don’t want to upload large distribution files.

6. SetupCast creates content that can be integrated with your website
The output files that SetupCast creates can be used on your website in a number of different ways. You can simply link to them, or you can display them in a DHTML window, use them in an Iframe or as a server side (SSI) or PHP include.
Direct Linking
The screen shot below shows the generated content from the project above as displayed in Internet Explorer. This is the way it would appear if you simply linked to the page.

Iframe
The generated content below is the “Links Page” template (a summary of all the installer types merged into a single HTML page). It is an actual file from a sample project that was published to the SetupCast Demo Site.
It is being displayed here in an Iframe with borders and scrollbars (so you can see where the IFrame is on this page).
The simple HTML code needed to pull the content into this page with an IFrame is shown here:
<iframe id="InlineFrame6" name="InlineFrame6" src="http://demo.setupcast.com/altcoolapp/links/setupcast.html" width="615" height="455" frameborder="1"></iframe>
DHTML window
Clicking the word “here” in the line below will display the Full Installer download information in a DHTML window using the jQuery Fancybox script.
